Pharma pro sells for $2.05M in La Jolla

Charles J. Betlach II sold a three-bedroom, three bath home at 7974 Paseo Del Ocaso in La Jolla for $2.05 million to Shores Limited on Aug. 12.
Betlach paid $2.35 million for the property in June 2006.
The 2,288-square-foot house was built in 1955.
Betlach is a pharmaceutical scientist and is a co-founder of a pharmaceutical company.
He is also the founder of the Betlach Family Foundation, a private organization based in San Francisco that promotes and supports notable contemporary art and important environmental issues. He currently serves as president of the foundation.
He has a master's degree in cellular biology from the University of California-Santa Barbara. He also holds a degree in pharmacy as well as a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of California-San Francisco.
