Oceanography expert sells to urologist, management consultant in La Jolla

Brock J. Rosenthal sold a three-bedroom, three bath at 7709 Prospect Pl. in La Jolla for $1,377,500 to Dr. Kenneth Nitahara and his wife, Tara, on April 18.
The 2,152 square foot house was built in 1951.
Mr. Rosenthal is the president and founder of Ocean Innovations, a San Diego company that provides equipment for oceanographic studies, hydrographic surveys and commercial or military underwater work.
Prior to Ocean Innovations, Brock was a co-founder of Deepsea Power & Light. He has degrees in management from the University of California-San Diego and UCLA.
Dr. Nitahara practices urology in San Diego. He earned his M.D. from the UCLA School of Medicine.
Mrs. Nitahara works as a senior consultant in the San Diego office of Booz Allen Hamilton, a national management consulting firm. She earned her bachelor's from the University of Hawaii-Manoa (1990).
