Paramount Pictures exec spends $1.25M in La Jolla

Diana Johnson sold her three-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 5510 Moonlight Ln. in La Jolla for $1.25 million to Randall Baumberger and his wife, Mary Christine, on April 18.
Johnson paid $430,000 for the property in Aug. 1994. The 2,327 square foot house was built in 1963.
Mr. Baumberger is the president of the studio group for Paramount Pictures, the entertainment giant based in Hollywood. He was hired for the position in January, and will oversee the group's activities involving environmental health and safety, facilities and plant operations, studio group finance, studio group legal, studio operations and technical services.
He previously served as the president and COO of Ultimate Electronics, a national specialty consumer electronics and home entertainment retailer based in Colorado. He has also served as the president of Game Crazy, a national video game retailer, and served in executive positions with the Walt Disney Company, GES Exposition Services and PepsiCo.
He earned his M.B.A. from Cal State-Fullerton (1992) and his bachelor's at the University of California-Irvine ('88).
