Accountant, specialty boutique owner lose $5K on Solana Beach home

Richard Muscio and his wife, Mari, sold his three-bedroom, three bath at 673 Ida Ave. in Solana Beach for $1.1 million to Sameer and Monika Gupta on April 9.

The Muscios paid $1.15 million for the property in June 2006.

Mr. Muscio is an accountant for San Diego accounting firm Friedman Brannen, LLP. He specializes as a private trustee and charitable gift planning consultant.

Mrs. Muscio is a co-owner of The Brighter Side, a specialty boutique in Solana Beach for women who are undergoing chemotherapy and fighting cancer. The shop's offerings range from custom wigs, bras, and bathing suits to prosthetic breasts.
