Byron Webb III and his wife, Alma, bought a five-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 2241 Calle Tiara in La Jolla for $2.7 million from Andrew Wrobel and his wife, Magda, on March 14.
The Wrobels paid $585,000 for the property in Dec. 1986.
The 3,314 square foot home was listed as high as $3,400,876.
Mr. Webb is the assistant vice president of the Home Bank of California in Pacific Beach. His father, Byron Webb Jr., is the president and chairman of the bank, and his grandfather, Byron Webb, founded the bank in 1981.
Mr. Wrobel has served as president and CEO of MeltroniX Inc., a semiconductor interconnect and wireless/broadband communication company based in San Diego.
