Dallas wireless technology director spends $1.2M in La Jolla

Michael R. Bernique and his wife, Diana, bought a condo in the La Jolla Seville condo building at 1001 Genter St. for $1.2 million from Herbert and Leah Karp on Feb. 29.
The Karps paid $650,000 for Unit #11 in Aug. 2002.
Mr. Bernique is the chairman of RF Monolithics, Inc., a wireless internet technology company based in Dallas, Texas. He has served on the board since 1997 and as the chairman since 1999.
He previously served as chairman, president and CEO of software development firm TelOptica, Inc. in 2003-04. He also spent four years as the director of the Ceramics Process Systems Corporation and worked with Next Level Systems Inc. and DSC Communications.
There are 120 units in the La Jolla Seville.
